Our Story

The Glorious missions is an indigenous faith base Mission Outfit (ministry) that was officially inaugurated on the 2nd of May, 2004 at Ungwan Romi, Kaduna  by  Rev. David Kanda  of Harvesters for Christ Ministry Kaduna. Prior to that day, we have been actively involved in outreaches/evangelism,  mission field visit to win souls and plant Churches in the hinterlands of Northern Nigeria, despite the Islamic and animist hostility in some places, the Lord have always glorified Himself by giving us victories. We are full members of Nigerian Evangelical Missions Association (NEMA) for over ten (10) years now and God is helping us.

Most of our Mission fields were unreached with the gospel of the Kingdom found mostly in the hinterlands of the Northern Nigeria where they are not just cut off from the gospel, but also from every social amenities, coupled with the fact that the roads are very deplorable and difficult to access during raining season. They are not just spiritually naked, but physically as well. When we started working among them, they were almost naked unbelievers, illiterates with a very high rate of infant and maternal mortality etc., but today, reverse is the case, even though some of the new Mission fields we’re engaging are still mostly/almost naked and 100% illiterates hence no western education available.

They are without schools, no any form of medication, not even a pharmaceutical store, and during the dry season, the streams they get water from are dead dry except for some dirty stagnant ponds which they scoop and drink, competing with their animals. No toilets, they defecate close to their streams because it’s always bushy and during raining season, the rains wash it down into the same streams.
